The Global Knowledge Graph is a network of interconnected datasets spanning a broad range of disciplines and domains that provide information about how knowledge is being used across a wide variety of domains.
It is the first, comprehensive collection of knowledge in a single database.
The Global Knowledge Web has been built with the goal of providing the community with a single source of information that is well-suited to all levels of knowledge and practice.
The site has been developed using open source tools and data collected from more than 10,000 sources, including the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Knowledge Graph, the Knowledge Exchange, and the World Knowledge Index.
These datasets are compiled in an open-source format that allows the community to contribute new information that would otherwise be inaccessible.
The first iteration of the Global Information Graph, or GIG, was published in 2015 and is available at http://www.gigaom.com/knowledge-tree/the-global-knowledge-graph/
